Walk to benefit Catholic Charities of Tell City
April 12, 2015, 12:00 at City Hall Park
Children and adults are invited to walk a 2 mile route as a way to support Catholic Charities Tell City and recognize walking as a form of exercise.
Catholic Charities Tell City provides food assistance at Martin’s Cloak Food Pantry and Table of Blessings. Financial assistance is provided in the form of emergency assistance, Lifeline for Families, Early Years Store, and Budget Basics classes. Other programs are the annual winter coat giveaway, and partnerships with Branchville Training Center. Many people in Perry County are helped by these programs.
Minimum fitness walk donations are $10 per person or $25 per a family of 3 or more people.
Donations and registration forms may be turned in on April 12 between 11:15 A.M. and noon at City Hall Park, or dropped off before April 12 at:
- Catholic Charities Office, 802 9th Street
- New Directions
