Here you will receive an extravagant welcome no matter who you are and no matter where you may find yourself on life’s journey. At EUCC, we are a welcoming church working towards our Open and Affirming status. Warmth and an accepting atmosphere are the experiences awaiting you here at EUCC!
Evangelical United Church of Christ was the first Protestant church established in Tell City in 1866. We’ve been at the same location at 10th and Jefferson Street ever since the construction of our first building, shown in this photo. We have a rich history and heritage rooted in this community and a mission to reflect the image of Christ in our community today and in future generations.
Our church has evolved over the years as our parent organization joined with other denominations, eventually becoming a member congregation of the United Church of Christ. The history of the UCC includes active contributions to social change such as abolition of slavery and ordination of female clergy. We continue that tradition today by welcoming people of all sexual orientations, gender identities and gender expressions to worship with us.
